Yesterday, Tomislav Karamarko resigned from the position of President of Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ), a right-wing party that won the most MPs in 2015 parliamentary election.

Yesterday, Sabor (Croatian parliament) accepted the motion for a vote of no-confidence to the Prime Minister, Tihomir Orešković with 125 votes for, 15 against and 2 MPs that abstained from voting.
Croatian Prime Minister faces impeachment
On Tuesday this week, the president of HDZ (Croatian Democratic Union) and vice-prime minister, Tomislav Karamarko announced that his party is in the process of collecting signatures from MPs to impeach the current Croatian Prime Minister, Tihomir Orešković.
