Recently, the President of Croatia announced an early parliamentary election to take place September 11, thus ending one of the worst political crisis in the nation’s history.
Yesterday, the President of Croatia, Kolinda Grabar Kitarović, announced that she will sign off on an early election.
Today, Croatian MPs voted for the dissolution of Sabor (Croatian Parliament) on July 15. The motion for the dissolution passed overwhelmingly with 137 votes in favor, two votes against and with one MP who abstained from voting.
On Tuesday this week, the president of HDZ (Croatian Democratic Union) and vice-prime minister, Tomislav Karamarko announced that his party is in the process of collecting signatures from MPs to impeach the current Croatian Prime Minister, Tihomir Orešković.
