Yesterday, the President of Croatia, Kolinda Grabar Kitarović, announced that she will sign off on an early election.
Yesterday, Tomislav Karamarko resigned from the position of President of Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ), a right-wing party that won the most MPs in 2015 parliamentary election.
Today, Croatian MPs voted for the dissolution of Sabor (Croatian Parliament) on July 15. The motion for the dissolution passed overwhelmingly with 137 votes in favor, two votes against and with one MP who abstained from voting.
